Hello Miriam I'm not saying it's been 'dropped', rather it is no longer supported which at the moment probably means IE 11 still works most of the time, but in the very near future, my opinion is that it will become less stable across the internet as web page devs stop maintaining code

Basically, what he's trying to say in a very subtle way is that you should use Firefox and not Internet Explorer. I don't understand why, as Internet Explorer is very usable and secure, and only dangerous activity will net you trouble, especially if you've got an anti-virus and malware

Sorry Anna. Microsoft has a new internet browser called edge. Internet Explorer is no longer microsoft's preferred browser so appears not be be getting any worthwhile updates from microsoft. I have personally found IE 11 to be very unstable and unreliable. You may have a different experience.

Needs to run about 24 hours. Try that. You and a lot of others are having this problem, not just you. Punishment for not having Win10? You might call the Microsoft Accessibility desk at 800-936-5900. The first time I called I got the problem resolved for 3 weeks then it started again.
