Hi Rick, I might have solved my problem by taking sent mail out of my favorites. When jaws told me I was in the Messages list, I thought I was in my inbox, because at some point I was. But it’s entirely possible that this messages list with some sort of combined deal where sent mail was showing

I have 2016. I just did a CTRL + A and pasted into NOTEPAD. Then I created a new Word document and pasted from Notepad into it and it did away with formatting except for carriage returns. This is because Notepad recognizes carrieage returns. Perhaps you are using Wordpad or something like it that
