I think you have other things going on here besides UAC, if your Windows Defender is coming up. You may need to disabling scanning in Windows Defender after you adjust UAC. Type UAC in your search Box. Select User Account in the results. 3. Use the slider and select "Never Notify". 4. Hit

Hi Humberto, I am running the computer as administrator, & have got the problem solved. I wasn't getting the UAC dialog to press the Yes button, but after setting the slider to 0, pressing the Okay button, I then pressed, Alt + Y, & everything is good now. Thanks mooy moocho for your help.

I've had a similar issue before. Of course, when you go to disable uac, and choose ok, uac comes up and asks if you really want to disable it. The experience I had was that jaws didn't read the uac message at that point for some reason, so once you've clicked ok after choosing, set uac to zero,
