Hi Steve, Unlike Firefox, Chrome does not have a built-in option to prevent pages from being refreshed. However, you can prevent JAWS from refreshing the virtual buffer by changing Automatically Page Refresh option which is present when you press JAWS+V from witting Chrome. You can change it

Hi. If you're working with the JAWS OCR feature, the OCR conversion takes place in a separate window. I assume you know that, hence your question. But I'm guessing there's a question behind this one. Maybe you could explain why you want the OCR conversion to occur in the same window.
