Hi Steve,
Unlike Firefox, Chrome does not have a built-in option to prevent pages from
being refreshed.
However, you can prevent JAWS from refreshing the virtual buffer by changing

Hi Adrian and all,
As I understood, Arvind is asking if it's possible to launch an OCR command on
an image of a web page with no need to save the image or other advanced tricks

If that was the question, although theoretically should be possible to locate

HI there. Have you tried www.misk.com? They are usually a good site to go
for an accessible registrar. I've used them in the past. Their prices are
$12.00USD annually.
I hope I've pointed you in the right direction.

Now that I have Jaws 2018 with Windows 7 on a 64 bit desktop computer, Jaws
is doing the same thing rather often. Since I don't know anything and my
memory isn't great, I ended up resorting to the same process without trying
anything else. Jaws partially disappears, says alt tab but won't say

blind individuals use a company called ultra domains, might be something worth
looking up as well. Hope that helps a bit

Hi, I am thinking of getting my own domain, but I seem to remember a
discussion a while back on this list about what domain registry websites are
most accessible.
I can't find the thread, so can someone tell me what registry sites are best?
Thanks,

Tom,
Thanks for helping me save some money. I guess it's not memory space, but
more a problem with resource allocation and interrupt priority.

I am a Windows 7 user, so I'm not sure how well this applies to Windows 10.
Furthermore, I don't use C Clener. However, I do use a program called
Registry First-Aid. This program gets rid of unused registry entries. I
believe C Cleaner may do this, too. If it does, its funcions differ from
Hi Don,
This is because by default Firefox doesn't display the neu bar on screen,
but you can simply press ALT or F10 and open the menu bar as any other, and
there go to the View menu. You can even press ALT+V to open this menu.
Hope it helps!

Press start windows, type file option, press enter there.
Now go to view tab and click on show file and folder.
Now apply and ok button.

Hi Tom,
Yes, using access keys underline in the ribbon is also convenient. I can't
however indicate commands of that type here, because unlike the ones in
ribbons of Windows apps such as WordPad and File Explorer, access keys are
different in non-English Office versions, because Office 2007 and
Hi. If you're working with the JAWS OCR feature, the OCR conversion takes place
in a separate window. I assume you know that, hence your question. But I'm
guessing there's a question behind this one. Maybe you could explain why you
want the OCR conversion to occur in the same window.
This says windows 7 but many of the shortcuts work in 10:

better again.
I'm also considering purchasing RAM to double my
