Use Office 2016 desktop applications on my machines. If you're already familiar with Office programs, it's not going to be that much of a shock, but for maybe the ribbons Even then, like most things, you'll get used to it. I don’t' even worry about PST files and all that noise as much as before.

I think Outlook 2010 has the ribbon. Must have been the first one. I agree that the risk shouldn't be that great. Starting with maybe 2007 or 2010, Microsoft changed the default extensions for documents and created a different set for documents that were macro-enabled. As far as I know, macros

Unfortunately, the newer Office suites have gone to the ribbon type menu, so it will be different than Office 2007. I think Outlook did not use ribbons in 2010 yet, but since your Office 2007 is expiring, I'd guess 2010 is going to be getting long in the tooth. You can still use Office 2007,

I got a sweet deal on Office 2016 and I specifically did not want Office 365 as I feel rather opposed to the subscription-based approach to software. However, from a certain perspective, it does make sense. So, it's up to you. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List On Behalf Of Jim

We just upgraded to Office 365 from Thunderbird email client and Office 2010. I don't do much with Word, but with O365 I didn't need to uninstall anything. Just got a Microsoft account, bought the O365 home with 5 connections and so far it's running pretty smoothly. I've never used Outlook,

Hey Wayne. I just upgraded from office 2010 32-bit to 2016 64-bit. I used 2016 before at my old work and found that it worked really well with jAWS 18 except for the semi-usual jAWS crashes, which I recently discovered seem less of an issue if you stick to good ole' Eloquence. I do find that

Hey. There is a setting in file explorer options, in the tree view under the "view" tab, which says "automatically type into the search box". You'll find this under 'when typing in the list view", I believe. Maybe this setting is checked in your new account. -Original Message- From:
