8.1 is quite different e.g. there is no start menu, just tiles which takes a
bit of getting used to but if you are just running the OS to get access to your
applications, that shouldn't be too much of an issue, you need to consider
which apps you need to run first.

We have just deployed SCCM and have a web page for installing applications.
This web page is Microsoft Silverlight and when you select an application, it
comes up with a confirmation yes/no box. JAWS won't seem to read this

Explorer on a PC, and much like File Explorer on the later

Hi friends,
I am just starting to try to learn Microsoft Windows Live mail.
I have a message in my inbox which I open then use control r to reply.
JAWS then seems to go in to forms mode and when I try to type a reply, it is
trying to navigate a web page.
Has anyone come across this please?
