A mail merge is where two files are combined in such a way that information
from both is used to create a single document. The merge process uses the
task pane to present a series of screens containing options; the choices
made on one screen dictate what options are available

Did you have Word open at the time you tried deleting it? If so, that is
the
other user. You must close Word before trying to delete normal.dot.
Sometimes it take a little time.

or other. I
expect you will have to either repair or reinstall Word. The programme is
looking for something that isn't there and therefore failing.

I'm using
like your memory resources are being used intensively

I am in desperate help here and for the life of me cannot figure out why I
keep getting this message and why I can't open Word or even a saved word.doc
file.
Please any help appreciated.

I have noticed on a few emails that I do a copy/paste job to new
.
The prompt to save as normal checkbox should be, as you have it,
unchecked.
You may need to delete normal.dot, which may have become corrupted. Word
will replace it the next time you open.

I wonder what changes it made automatically? Can you do a repair on
Microsoft word? Accept the changes (yes button?)

it or not. It is just an artifact of how JAWS
is
handling the copying of emails and Web content. If folk want to pursue
the
matter it can be pursued by corresponding with FS, or obviated by using an
earlier version of JAWS.
