Sandy, Do this test. In IE 11, before you press Ctrl-H, press Insert+3 to do a pass-through. Then try Ctrl+H.
If that works, then there is a key assignment in JAWS that is already consuming the Ctrl+H and you will need to remove it. If so, I posted about this problem months ago and got no response. The problem jumped up all of a sudden. It was working fine... and does on my new laptop... but for some reason that even one of the JAWS tech couldn't explain, I can't fix. And to be honest, I think the tech didn't know what he was talking about. He said it was iE's problem, not JAWS settings. If so, why was it working previously and works on my new laptop. I hope someone knows the answer because I still use the old laptop.
