Users] Deleting the entire Delete Folder at once
Linda, I like it because I don't have to go to the delete folder to get rid
of the messages.
It works well for me.

My options *are* set to delete the entire deleted folder when I shut down,
problem is that I usually just put my laptop to "sleep" instead of
completely shutting down when I go away for a while. For reasons know
s really do have odd personality quirks.

the delete folder each time you close close your mail client, right? I
can't remember which client you use, but I could do that in every mail
client I've ever used, so you might want to prowl around in your options
