Can anyone tell me if Jaws will work with Excel 2003 and Windows 7. We have
a user using this setup and it seems that jaws will not read the excel
spreadsheet. Does anybody have any experience with this?
Cheers
Alex

I bring stuff home with me to complete in Excel 2003.

Hey Gang,
I have a problem when I open up excel spread sheets 2003.
I can't use my up, down, right or left key to move around. The tab works,
but I don't want to go in a strait line.
What can I do to stop this, so I could use my arrow keys?
I've unloaded jaws, and that don't help.
I'm using, Jaws

Elaine,
I do this stuff all the time. Actually it's quite easy. There are two
ways to do it.

Hi Elaine,
I have just been playing with this and here is what I discovered.
First, you can get to headers and Footers through the View menu instead of
the File menu, I don't know what difference this makes.
Now as for those Left, Center and Right edit boxes, you

thanks very much for this tip, it worked like a charm.
I always thought to click the left or right mouse button, the jaws cursor
had to be on that item. it never occurred to me to try your method.
thanks again

Hi Dale
you are absolutely correct, both ways are exactly the same.
I've no clue as to why I'm told to go through the page set up when the
exact same options are available and more easily accessible

Hi all,
Is there a way I can easily read a large amount of text within a cell in Excel

In some of the cells I have a few pages of text. I can use the F2 key to go

there a easy way I can read text in the

As I understand it, it is about subtracting E4 and F4 from H3 - the
original
'balance (carried) forward' - and putting the result or final balance into
the formula which is to occupy G4.

payments plus deposits equals ending balance.

Patti,
Type the formula below in cell G4:
=h3-E4+F4
You can copy the formula in G4 to G5 when you have activity in the
5th row and you will have a new balance.
