Sorry to say that at the present officially no screen readers work in the bios
area as no sound drivers load when booted into it.

I received an HP computer for Christmas. I have the same situation of not
having an applications key. First of all, shift + F10 does the same thing as
the application key. Next, will JAWS work in the bios, or does that require

Shift f10 should get you into the context menu.
