Hi.
I trust Windows Defender / Microsoft Security Essentials well enough.
The reported reason it doesn't rate as well as everyone else is two fold
1. It doesn't bother blocking non realistic issues that are only really
applicable

When you say that Avira is Pretty good, are you saying that it is only
somewhat accessible?
Thanks! Vicky

Hi.
If you're running windows 8 just use windows defender. Otherwise, use
microsoft Security Essentials. That's what I've been doing at least. I'm
happy.
If you need a download link for Security Essentials (remember windows
defender is actually Security Essentials if you're running windows 8
in top shape. I am
guilty of becoming a little lazy in some areas.

Hello, everyone.
You may recall that, a few days ago, I was having trouble with a program
on
my computer running in the background, and interfering with Jaws.
Originally, I thought the problem was with Java.
Apparently, the problem was not with Java
Thanks, Carolyn.

I got rid of AVG
that will work, just as a backup to
verify that the computer is clean. I also run a separate MalwareBytes
anti-spyware.
