if you have a num pad
fn+num pad plus and minus are your volume up and down,

Cliff,
You may have to go back and reload the Real Speak Solo package which came
with Jaws 9. that's what I had to do and now I have all of my weird
friends again:
Samantha, Karen, Emily, Tom, Lee, Jennifer and so on. Jaw
She's better, in my opinion than
most of those others. The only thing is,in the default, she's a bit too low
in volume for my taste.
