Once you have set JAWS to run from the system tray, you just need to go back

I have always ran Jaws from the system tray with no problems.
Jaws is out of the way when ALT+tabbing.
to access jaws menu's when using jaws from the system tray, do the
following:
Insert+j
Can't you just use jaws-key and the letter J to access the menu.
I've been using Jaws in the system tray that way for fifteen years.

screen and after start up. However, once the computer had booted up, the
ALT + Tab function did not work, and I could not alt tab from open program

keystroke, Insert + J, isn't opening Jaws
Are you using Laptop Keyboard layout? because if so, try
