Maybe, think of trying AVG pro for a one year license.
You been trusting the free on your PC.
So, the pro has to be better.
I been using the pro since 2008 and never had a problem.

downloading and installing the upgrade to AVG free 2015.
The program prompts me to upgrade, but that's not at all JAWS friendly, So,

Try downloading it from ninite.com
Just tick the avg check box and hit the button.
You will need Jawskey + B to read the install dialogue but it is all
automated so you only need to read that it is finished.
