Lori, Try focusing on the Jaws Icon on your desktop, press alt+enter and hit the tab key until you hear Jaws Hotkey None. at that point press ALT+CTRL+A, tab until you hear exit or close or whatever it is that gets you out of that dialog. Hint, once you are back on your desktop, reopen the dialog

Go the JAWS9 icon on your desktop, and press alt-enter. tab to the hot key edit field, and there press ctrl-alt-j. Tab to OK and press enter. DO NOT PRESS SHIFT-TAB TO GO BACK at any point in this dialogue. Now, unload JAWS9 and press ctrl-alt-j. Hopefully, JAWS9 will come up talking.
