Re: [JAWS-Users] Research It for JAWS 11 (Last securitybuild)notworking

2010-09-23 Thread Tan Siew Ling
Hi,
I was just told that indeed there is a Firewall which his workplace
uses. He said he will ask the IT department and then get back to me.
When I have the information, I will pass it along and maybe you all
can help us from there.
  Thank you.

Siew Ling

 Hi,

Pardon me for my lack of computer terminology. If the Firewall was
blocking JAWS, shouldn't his earlier versions of JAWS not function at
all? Right now, JAWS can interact fully with his desktop, the only
problem is that Research It is not working as expected.
Thank you for your assistance again.

 Hi,
I think you misunderstood what I wanted to ask. I know how to use
the currency converter. The problem I'm facing when trying to help my
friend is that none of the 22 services worked. Even wanting to find
the definition of happy, Wiktionary just returned with no result.
Same for the currency conversion, we presented the information as how
 you typed it too.
Thus, I was wondering if there is a setting I need to adjust so this
Research It module can function properly.
  Thank you for your assistance.
