I figured out how to create restore points
to create a restore point system protection must be enabled
On Windows 10, System Restore is disabled by default if the OS drive is 128GB
or less. So depending on the hardware specs and disk layout, that could be
completely normal behavior.

Following up on the post copied below, I'm reminded off-list by Mike B that it
was an FS tech support person who got me to install Java. The rep said it would
solve the problem I was having accessing buttons on a certain website, and Java
did make those buttons accessible. So my dilemma
