[JBoss-dev] Reverse Proxy Servlet

2003-11-08 Thread Thomas Peuss
I added my Reverse Proxy Servlet (aka Loadbalancer) to the CVS repository today. The only problem I have is to which run-configuration (minimal, default or all) I should add the loadbalancer.war to. The problem is: The WAR overlays the other webapps that have been deployed (it maps to context /).

2003-11-08 Thread Sacha Labourey
Hello, I would like to continue our discussion of JBoss configuration as I think we must make that much better for future releases of JBoss. There are lots of facets to this problem but in order to keep things simply, I would like to start talking about a single one: user configuration of JBoss

Attached is the draft of the 4.0 roadmap. The 4.0 codebase will be the basis for the j2ee 1.4 certification work. The outline is still too coarse grained due to the fact that tasks have not been assigned. If you have interest in an area let me know so tasks can be scoped out and assigned. --

Its not a bad idea, but implicit in this is how do you know which services to include? A default newbie optionless 'ant' invocation is jsut going to build the current default so its a pointless option. The bigger underlying issues is the jboss config thread to which Sacha just posted another
