Well, I was doing some experimenting (which is what I do when I don't
have a clue) and discovered that version 1.56 of jde-ant.el works
just fine for me, but version 1.57 doesn't. Looking at the diff, the
only change is the normalization of jde-ant-program. Interestingly
enough, 1.57 fails for a

Yes, this is also happening to me (and it's *really* annoying). For
me, it's been sporadic ... for example, it didn't happen at all
yesterday. Unfortunately, I'm relatively new to xemacs (and jdee), so
I wasn't able to figure out what was causing it. Restarting xemacs
would usually cure it ...
