FYI. One thing that Mr. Mohanty seems to have missed out is an analysis of
why the Supreme Court Forest bench has been so accomodating towards
Vedanta. An analysis of the whole process of legal challenge against
Niyamgiri Mining will clearly show this accomodation.

Adequate laws are already there to punish civil servants on condition that
consent of UPSC is required for such proceedings. Usually any such action
against them drags on in the appellate levels for several years until the
incumbent retires.
