I using the ability to save state toward two ends in our Jmol model kit (aka
Jmol molecular editor): An editor undo and a means for users to exchange
edited models. I have no problem with the state code running if the built
model starts with a model loaded from a server file, but if the built model
starts from a structure drawn in JME or ChemSketch, I get a Jmol load error
(file format) when I run a state file during the model build process. With
both ChemSketch and JME, I am loading the original molfile data via an
inline load.
>From the state code, it looks like the intent of the code is that embedded
molfile data rather than a server file load is intended to run. Am I correct
on this assumption? If so, any thoughts on this problem?
