Is it me, or Clear and Dark variants from Diamond00744 look
exactly the same?
the dark version has less saturation in the colors.
I actually really like the design idea by Felis Pimeja to make a pencil out
of the J, while Diamond00744
Well, yes, I very much like Felis' logo, which Diamond's design misses
(btw, Felis is Alexander, and Diamond is Ilya). But Diamond's image
looks warmer and more... human, though not as specific as Felis's. And
not as modern as his animated banner.
Also I don't like capitalization in Felis'

I thought the same, but the green is slightly brighter in the clear images aso.
So there's no huge difference, but I like the clear version better ;-)

Hi, those look great.
My personal vote, which I know matters exactly zero, is the first one,
it is much more friendly and welcoming. As someone who pushes new
mappers toward JOSM when possible, it would be good if it presented a
friendly face.
Any of them would be great.
