Seen here as well, on:
Ktorrent 5.0dev (built from git)
KDE Frameworks 5.19.0 (built from git)
Qt 5.6.0 (built from git)
If can confirm that if I edit the file
$KF5/share/applications/org.kde.ktorrent.desktop and change the line:
Exec=ktorrent %i -caption %c %u
to
Exec=ktorrent %i %c %u
I am then able to start ktorrent from krunner and from the menu.
