I have to agree with k...@dickbag.org, it's alarming that such an integral piece
of software has regression issues at all. I feel that only the most senior

Same issue here. It's a little distressing that such a vital component was left
out of Plasma 6. I might be interested in creating a regression test for this
sort of thing in the future.
