I was wrong above. EmulatedCommandBar::eventFilter() _is_ called, catches
m_suspendEditEventFiltering and returns false to reject the event.

Well, it' not only the "shift" key press that causes the problem. Most
"control" keys are crashing the editor (CTRL, CAPS LOCK, ALT, etc.).
Note that I am talking about a crash that occurs
