                    reconnect
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.25.4
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_networkmanagement
          Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

There is no save button for an OpenVPN password entered.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to https://www.freeopenvpn.org
2. Click 'Get access' on any online country
3. Once on the download page, click UDP or TCP (don't leave the web page)
4. Go to KDE System Settings > Connections
5. And new connection ("+" button)
6. Scroll down until you see "Import VPN connection" and double-click it
7. Locate and open the .ovpn file you downloaded
8. Apply
9. Click the Networks system try/panel icon
10. Click the "Connect" button of the new *freeopenvpn* that you added and
enter the Password/PIN from the Download page of the freeopenvpn
11. Wait for it to connect. You can check your new IP address if you want.
12. Click the Networks system try/panel icon
13. Click the "Disconnect" button of the new *freeopenvpn*
14. Click the "Connect" button of the new *freeopenvpn* again
15. Notice that it keeps asking for the password/PIN because there's no way to
save it. That's a problem.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It also sometimes disconnects on its own, which is a problem I'm not able to
reproduce. Therefore it would be nice to add a few VPN connections, save
PIN/Password, and set a rule to fallback to any of the added VPNs in case one
VPN connection fails unexpectedly.
