...as for the operation notification, that is stored. It was
a bug somewhere between 5.5.0 and 5.5.3 that it wasn't,
but it's fixed now.

"Notifier" is the application that notifies.
If you want the notification server and applet, that would be
in plasma-workspace/dataengines/notifications and
