Well, the problem is that on my system the libaries in lib64, so the libsuffix is "64". For some reason CLucene is not found there. Actually the library is found (- Found CLucene library: /usr/lib64/libclucene.so), but the libary path is not. As I see the library is checked with: FIND_LIBRARY_WITH_DEBUG(CLUCENE_LIBRARY WIN32_DEBUG_POSTFIX d NAMES clucene clucene-core PATHS ${TRIAL_LIBRARY_PATHS}) IF (CLUCENE_LIBRARY) MESSAGE(STATUS "Found CLucene library: ${CLUCENE_LIBRARY}") while the PATH with: FIND_PATH(CLUCENE_LIBRARY_DIR NAMES CLucene/clucene-config.h PATHS ${TRIAL_LIBRARY_PATHS}) In both case ${TRIAL_LIBRARY_PATHS} is defined as: SET(TRIAL_LIBRARY_PATHS $ENV{CLUCENE_HOME}/lib${LIB_SUFFIX} ${CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX}/lib${LIB_SUFFIX} /usr/local/lib${LIB_SUFFIX} /usr/lib${LIB_SUFFIX} /sw/lib${LIB_SUFFIX} NO_DEFAULT_PATH ) So unless I define LIB_SUFFIX to "64", it fails to find the library path. But why the first check finds it and the second doesn't is beyond me. Andras -- Quanta Plus developer - http://quanta.kdewebdev.org K Desktop Environment - http://www.kde.org
