Akonadiconsole probably works. I kmails menu, file-work offline, then

My immediate choice would be a toggle action, in the Message menu and context

The cursor is misplaced with either of my templates, it is *always* placed at
the end of the last line of the quote.
I get
quoted textcursor here
no matter the template.

Also present in kde 4.8.1. I believe this affects all akonadi resources, so
that remote calendars and addressbooks are also not updated when this
brokenness is active.
