I have made cold starts and logged in and out of KDE a number of times. The
problem seem to be sloved.

I upgraded to KDE 4.8.1 (including KMail 4.8.1). The nw release did not solve
the issue My problem remains. Is there anything I can assist with in terms of

If you are not motivated, or have time to fix bugs, then mayby you should
