I have found that if you move a message to another folder, then switch your
view from your inbox to any other folder and back to inbox, the message
reappears instantly.

I'm using 4.8.4 currently. I'll watch for 4.9 to become available through SuSE.
In 4.8.4 the emails still fail to show. I'll re-post after an upgrade. Thanks.

I changed some kmail settings and the program seems stable at least for now.
