Wowh, quick fix. To check, I wait for kde 4.8.x to appear in debian
experimental. No Time to compile myself and looking for configure errors.
I will resend confirmation.

Same here with davmail and external exchange server and an imap akonadi
resource on localhost with disconnected option enabled.
After restart of akonadi, akonadi kontacts davmail again and fetched mails
appear in kmail

Hallo all
at first thanks for the great improvements in kde 4.7.4.
I use korganizer 4.7.3 in kde 4.7.4. If I create a new event with attendees I
will get the same behaviour as described for kmail2: the recipients addresses
are not accepted by davmail

kmail 4.7.3 from kubuntu oneiric with debian kde 4.7.4 from debian experimental
solution from comment #10 worked by configuring folder
$HOME/.local/share/.local-mail.directory
