Bug ID: 422362 Summary: Request for a dark mode - option to set dark background/light font in article preview and in internal browser Product: akregator Version: 5.13.3 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: internal browser Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: lordj...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 128990 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=128990&action=edit Article preview comparision SUMMARY I have photophobia (high light sensitivity). Is there any way to change default web page colors in internal browser? If no could you add it? I use "darkreader" addon to do this in my standalone browser. Because of that I use "liferea" which has that option but Akregator is superior to it in every other way. Sadly I just can't read any text on white background. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Akregator 2. Scream "AAAA my eye's!" 3. Switch back to Liferea OBSERVED RESULT Dark letters on light background EXPECTED RESULT light letters on dark background SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 20.04 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version:5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Attaching screenshot demonstrating difference between Akregator and Liferea -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
