This font or alias works in all applications except KMail2.
It worked in all KMail2 in versions 4.10.3.

Did you set case sensitivity manually? Have a look at bug 220007.

Since this is causing messages I send to either not be signed by me, stored on
my drive unencrypted, or not being able to unencrypt the messages, I think that
this is a pretty severe bug.
