[kaddressbook] [Bug 328196] New: allow sorting/filtering by month in birthday field

2013-11-29 Thread Martin Tlustos
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328196

Bug ID: 328196
Summary: allow sorting/filtering by month in birthday field
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kaddressbook
   Version: 4.11.2
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: martin.tlus...@gmail.com
CC: to...@kde.org

It would be great if it would be possible to sort addressbook entries by month.
Right now they are sorted by year, which is nice but not helpful if you want to
find out who has his birthday in a given month.

Reproducible: Always

[Akonadi] [Bug 328201] New: Akonadi control process not registered at D-Bus

2013-11-29 Thread Tsu Jan
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328201

Bug ID: 328201
Summary: Akonadi control process not registered at D-Bus
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 1.10.3
  Platform: Debian unstable
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: tsujan2...@gmail.com

With every system start-up, Akonadi fails to work. The Akonadi Server Self-Test
Report says:

Akonadi control process not registered at D-Bus

The problem can temporarily be fixed, at least, in two ways:

(1) Removing of '~/.local/share/akonadi/db_data' and logging out and in; most
of the time, Plasma crashes after log-in but Akonadi starts working;

(2) Using these commands:

pkill akonadi_control
pkill akonadiserver
akonadictl start

However, the problem appears again after a reboot.

Reproducible: Always

Notes:

(1) There's some info in this report for Ubuntu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/akonadi/+bug/1245979
But I have Debian with the same issue.

(2) I haven't tried the second method yet but subscribers to the above report
say that it works.

(3) I don't use (and don't have) Strigi. I need Akonadi just for Kmail and
Korganizer.

(4) Some people have reported that removal of '~/.local/share/akonadi/' and
'~/.config/akonadi/' has solved their problem but the problem returns with a
system reboot, so it isn't related to corrupted database or wrong config. I
even renamed '~/.kde' after that removal from outside KDE but the issue
returned.

(5) I tried Akonadi-1.10.80 too and the problem persisted.

could we detect this and automatically update user configuration files?
(otherwise, I guess users updating mysql, e.g. through distro upgrade, need to
update the (old) config files themselves)

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I started Kontact and KMail crashed before the ui was visible.
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Since the recent update from Kubuntu to 13.10 KMail is startet as a separate
window when I launch Kontact. This is probably not related because KMail did
not crash since a long time but you never now… ;)

[kmail2] [Bug 328220] Emailadress as Link in my Signature

2013-11-29 Thread Martin Brugger
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328220

--- Comment #2 from Martin Brugger martin.brug...@outlook.com ---
No I send in html.

In Kmail, in: Settings Configure Kmail Identities. When I select the
default identity, or the identity I use for that email account, and select
Modify, then I go over to the Signature tab. There I have checked the Use
HTML box at the bottom, then i put in with the basic editor a lInk. But it
will always sent as Text.

In the Editor the Rich-Text Button is enabled too!

Please Help me!

[kmail2] [Bug 328220] Emailadress as Link in my Signature

2013-11-29 Thread Martin Brugger
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328220

--- Comment #3 from Martin Brugger martin.brug...@outlook.com ---
When I let Kmail automatical input of my Signature then is the Emailadresslink
and the homepagelink and the line correct (as html) over taken in the email
editor. All is OK.

Only when I make a Template with my %Signature without automatic Setting! then
is my Emailadresslink and the homepagelink and the line not as html over taken
its only text.

I experience behavior like this also, although in my case it will display all
messages except the most recent ones. Restarting kmail or akonadi also resolves
it for me.
