Summary: Filter Rules keep disappearing Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: jmdavisp...@gmx.com Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux Kmail lists itself as 4.7.0 just like KDE, so I don't know what application version number (2.x) it is, hence why I left it as unspecified. Frequently, when I start kmail, all of my filter rules are gone (also kmail forgets which accounts and folders and I had expanded on the left-hand side and they're all collapsed). They only way that I've been able to keep them is to export them and then re-import them every time that I start kmail. Most of the time, I always leave kmail running, so it only shuts down when I logout/restart/shutdown the computer, and then it restarts when I log in again. I suspect that the problem is related to that, since if I exit kmail and reopen it it's fine, but if I reboot the computer and it was running before I rebooted, then the filters are gone when I get back into KDE. I'm not sure if it's 100% consistent about that though. Regardless, at least a large percentage of the time, when I first use kmail after logging in, I have to re-import my filter rules, because kmail lost them. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open kmail. 2. Restart computer via kde menu. 3. Log in to KDE. 4. Open kmail. 5. Filter rules are gone and kmail forgot what was collapsed and what was expanded on the left-hand side. Actual Results: Filter rules disappeared and accounts and folders on the left-hand side are all collapsed. Expected Results: Filter rules remain just as they were before restarting, and the accounts and folders on the left-hand side are just as expanded or collapsed as they were before restarting. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
