For the purposes of the 2.6.23 the patches in the -mm were slightly
different because there were some conflicts between the ppc/powerpc
ARCH.   The patches in the source force cvs actually work against the
kernel.org kernel, where as the -mm kernel patches are broken.   In the
2.6.24-mm tree it should be working now that these conflicts have been
resolved.
