Not sure if this will help, but I just discovered that some random transactions
(NOT SPLITS!!!) that are tagged are not appearing in some reports.
In this case, one transaction entered on my credit card had

I do the same. I enter each splits as a separate entry in the ledger to be
able to assign tags otherwise they wont show up anywhere.
Tags are insanely useful. We need to make this work.
