HI All;
I tried to post some pictures of spars that I picked up in a parts buy and am
wondering about thoughts on cleaning these up for eventual use.
I have been sanding some and it seems to work fairly well but very tedious.
It does not seem like mould but I could be wrong, is this something
I have a pair of heads for 2180 VW and it appears that they are machined for
dual plugs but I am bit confused because the secondary holes are drilled and
have tubes that come up into the valve cover area. I don't see how plugs can be
used there unless the tubes are supposed to be extended up
Does anyone know if John Shaffer is still active.I am going to Ohio to pick
something up close to Fremont, and thought I might try to see his KR.

Great video Larry... I will be flying it off a grass strip.
We have 2500 ft and also 3000 ft runways so hoping that will be fine but I
will likely use it all.

anada has a much more stringent process. My opinion, do not buy it
without a builders log. You're buying nothing but a problem.

I guess I should have asked also n my previous email if anyone has had to open
up box spars or remove the stub wings or any other disassembly with good
results. By that I mean to be able to then re use those parts.
I am wondering how much of a project can be saved if I have to take it apart at
