1. IMO translating amp; to a word which means and in the localization
should not be categorized as a critical error. It is my understanding
that ampersands are not used universally in all languages.

I wouldn't call this weird. I guess Dwayne and his team just decided it
makes more sense for Pootle to do this. I'd guess most localizers only
work on one language,

Sometimes the field where i am writing my translations opens without
resizing to give place to the full text and with a vertical scrollbar
instead. When resizing the whole browser window, up or down, the field
is resized automatically.
