We didn't set a deadline yet, and possibly more strings will be added
before 4.2. So you can take your time, but it doesn't hurt if you
complete the translation right now!

Hi,
it seems that besides new languages some communities are working on
fixes/improvements of the existing translation which is fine for me.
To coordinate this work with the rest I would like to propose a general
translation deadline for new languages as well as updates of existing ones.

I've started translating (as well as editing) for Indonesian. But based on
recent e-mails the deadline date 18 June might be too early. If a translation
were to be completed after the deadline date, is there any chance that it can
still be submitted?
