Things I learned at conference:
-Waiting for an elevator takes longer than walking down the stairs, but
with those pillows and bags, it's not worth it to walk. Start early. Be
patient.
-Watch the front desk at the hotel.
Gentle Spiders-
I'm back on line, after spending yesterday (Sunday), the day after convention

Yes, I agree that the Rocky Mountain Lace Guild did a terrific job in hosting
this year's convention. Vasna, Cindy, Helen everyone else in the group
should be proud of what they achieved - a week that all attendees enjoyed
thoroughly.
It was fun educating other lacemakers about Estonia, I have
After a struggle, I managed to upload the fish on the Webshots page. Once I
managed it, I also uploaded photos of another group project the Guild
undertook - the fish is also part of a group project. The first project is
the Welwitschia mirabilis which is a plant that grows in the Namib desert.

The freight elevator sure was useful... Still, if we all started using it,
we'd just have 5 elevators
instead of 4, which wouldn't be that much of an improvement.

on Friday afternoon by using the freight elevator (I rationalized that we
