I have made small pieces of idrija on a flat pillow so I can see how the
addition of the curve would make it work easier. Interesting point as it
did seem very slow going, but then that is probably me, :-).

Tulsa called Broken Arrow; perhaps that is where your friend is going, as
there is no place called Broken Hill. There is also a town called Broken
Bow, but that is very very far from any big cities.

I made my own cylindrical pillow for tape laces. I didnt realize why they
showed lacemakers using that type of pillow until I started working on it. The
sewings are much easier to work with the greater curve of the pillow.

I have just looked at all the wonderful bookmarks. I was very impressed
with the Tennerife bookmarks - wish I could learn to do that!! Another
skill I would like to learn is netting and found those bookmarks also
different and lovely. What an exceptional and talented group of people
