I know there are lacemakers in New Zealand, and they have a Lace Guild there, too. I have met one NZ Lacemaker – last year at the IOLI Convention. I don’t know how far back the lacemaking goes, but I would think it is much like here in Australia. This sounds like a very interesting project.
