Tamara, Now in Minnesota we have 2 varieties, Grey (and sometimes white) which are big, and red that are small. The red squirrels are pretty much all you will ever find in Northern Minnesota. Where I live we have both. The grey are predominate but the reds are feistier. They are little scrappers
