A dose of seasonal 'fluey cold' has meant that we are rather last minute
with all preparations and no doubt there are many 'tweaks' which could have
been made.

Being rather diffident I asked a friend how I should word the post and cut and
pasted in too much haste.
The fault was all mine.
Sadly that terrible war which caused so much devastation lasted until
11.11.1918.

ruins of Ypres in 1915.
It has quite a 'polish' from long use and is 9cm in length.

Anyone reading Our booklet on Regency lace will see that we certainly have
studied the Luton collection.
There is an acknowledgement in our list of reference books.
The date AROUND 1820 is surely on target with our conclusions. George IV was

her generation of lace makers in the 40s 50s 60s of the 20th Century in
England were mainly self taught.

historical times in France and in England 1715-23 and 1811-1820. A hundred
