I too was disappointed more lace made by lacemakers was not included in the
exhibit.
By the time I had heard about the exhibit, space and lace had been pretty
much decided. So, my influence was minimal.
Still... it is a nice exhibit...

Whenever I have made a lace garter I measure the thigh and make the lace
2.5-3 times the thigh length... depends how much gathering I want.

Occasionally I have spiders on my ceilings, when this occurs I must get a
stepstool and hope I can reach the little guy and catch it without marking up
my ceiling. I know I could just leave it alone, but my dislike for spiders
