My guess is that Alice’s request for help buying a gift card for her “nephew”
is totally bogus, since she (and I) are well beyond the age of having
game-playing nephews!

It definitely seems like an email from a hacked account. I would hesitate
to actually purchase the gift card without speaking with her directly!
