Yikes! That's definitely an old one. I found the following in an old cookbook which my Mother used in the '30s and '40s. It sounds pretty close to the original ingredients, and at least they have given us measures! 4 pounds lean beef 2 pounds beef suet Baldwin apples 3 quinces 3 pounds
